I started doing website localization for the English to Indonesian pair in 2004 and has been in that field ever since. I understand the building blocks of a website due to my educational background and leveraged that knowledge when needed. Localization is definitely an important field I am interested in and I like learning more of the technical aspect and process management of this field.
I also preferred online CAT tools more than traditional ones: Google Translators Toolkit (GTT), Memsource, Wordbee, Crowdin, PhraseApp, Transifex, Lingohub, and many more. There are so many tools out there and I am still searching for the right tool that has integration of comprehensive review error quantifications. I do believe that language is subjective, but the impact of mistranslation can be quantified. Those numbers can be useful in improving the translators skill.
