She is a professional freelance translator specializing in legal and academic translation. She earned a Master of Translation Studies from Udayana University in 2015 and has been a professional freelance translator since then. Being a native Balinese, she works with two language pairs, i.e., English-Indonesian and English-Balinese, and has for over five years offering professional services in the language combination.
She began her career as a professional translator in legal documents in 2018 after an intense mentorship from Prof. Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra, an international law professor and expert for the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform and Fellow Professor of Charles Darwin University. As a staff of Udayana University, she translates numerous academic articles, proceedings, and books written by lecturers and professors from various disciplines. She is experienced translating various legal texts from law firms and notaries, as well as academic articles for publications in reputable international journals. Her translations have been accepted for publication in numerous prestigious journals with Scopus rankings of Q1, Q2, and Q3. Her insatiable curiosity, desire to learn, and networking capacity enable her to gain a greater understanding of various fields of science.
She is a full member of the Association of Indonesian Translators and currently serves as secretary of the HPI Bali Regional Commissariat.
